When developing our tour programs, we keep in mind to include responsible activities. We firmly believe that our products will contribute positively to economy of local ethnic communities beyond sightseeing.
Whenever possible, we utilize services of reliable local suppliers such as boats, restaurants, souvenir shops and local tour guides to support their incomes. In our tours, we integrate green activities such as walking, bicycling etc to reduce carbon footprint. At our office, we introduce green practices for saving water, energy and paper.
When we began our operations years ago, we made a decision that all our projects lead to sustainable development. Our community-based handicraft workshop that empowers disadvantaged women and preserves the Maasai beading tradition at the same time. The fair trade certified BMB enables Maasai women to apply their beading skills to produce and sell their handcrafted products, providing them with a reliable source of their own income.
