Explore the Hlane National Park | 2 Nights
Start your tour in Johannesburg and drive through South Africa's beautiful Mpumalanga Province to Swaziland. After crossing the border, you will drive through Swaziland to Hlane National Park, a magnificent wildlife haven where you'll be spending the next two nights.
Enjoy game viewing activities, hiking, and mountain biking in this 30 000 hectares of protected area. Keep your eyes open for lion and elephant, and go on a guided walk to search for the endangered white rhino.
See the world's largest fish in Praia do Tofo | 2 Nights
After crossing into Mozambique, you travel north through beautiful coastal scenery before arriving in Praia do Tofo, where you will spend the next 2 nights. In season, this is the perfect site to view the world's largest fish - the whale shark.
Spend your days relaxing on the white sandy beaches or swimming in the warm Indian Ocean. Experience a range of aquatic activities, including scuba diving, surfing, kayaking, and fishing.
Venture to Vilanculos | 1 Night
Continue your journey north, stopping at a local craft market for a bit of souvenir shopping before reaching the premier destination of Vilanculos. Spend the night in this vibrant town before heading off to the world-renowned Archipelago in the morning.
Discover the Bazaruto Archipelago National Park | 1 Night
One of southern Africa's largest marine parks, the Bazaruto Archipelago offers some of the most magnificent diving and snorkelling opportunities in Africa. Over the next few days you'll have ample opportunity to explore these magnificent waters. Return to Vilanculos for the evening of day 7.
Relax in Inhambane | 2 Nights
Head through picturesque coconut plantations toward the Old Portuguese settlement of Inhambane, another region that boasts incredible beaches and scenery and onto the Barra Beach. Spend your time lounging on these white sands, swimming, snorkeling or scuba diving. Explore the nearby surrounds on quad bikes or head further out to sea on a fishing trip or boat cruise.
See Mozambique's capital city | 1 Night
Head back south today as you travel to Mozambique's capital of Maputo. Sit back and enjoy a tour of the city, passing sites like the Fort of Nossa Senhora da Conceicao, and the Central Railway Station before returning to your accommodation outside of Maputo.
Return to South Africa | 2 Nights
Cross the border back into South Africa and make your way to the Kruger National Park - one of the most renowned conservation areas in the world. Spend the next two nights in this magnificent Big 5 reserve.
While here, you can explore the untamed wilderness on morning and afternoon game drives, guided walks, and optional night drives to spot some nocturnal animals.
Meet orphaned wildlife at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre | 1 Night
Venture out into the greater Kruger area today and visit the Mohololo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, a place where orphaned and injured animals are taken to be nurtured until they're strong enough to be released back into the wild. Enjoy traditional song and dance in the evening, accompanied by a typical South African meal.
Panorama Route back to Johannesburg
Depart from the Kruger region and take the scenic Panorama Route, making a stop at the many scenic viewpoints along the way, including the magnificent Blyde River Canyon and Bourke’s Luck Potholes. Arrive in the bustling city of Johannesburg where your tour will come to an end.
