7 Days Mara, Nakuru, Amboseli

You shall be picked from your hotel in Nairobi early morning depart to Masai Mara game reserve stopping at the view point of the Rift valley whose view of the valley below is splendingly panoramic and Narok town for a break and refueling. Arrive in time for lunch, check in at the Governors Camp, after your lunch break; proceed for a late afternoon game drive, Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Engage in full day game drives within the reserve. Maasai Mara is famous for vast rolling plains and round hills of interminent groves of acacia woodland and dense thickets of shrubs. A picnic lunch at the hippo pool gives you a chance to spot crocodiles and hippos basking on the rocks you should expect to see three major animals of the big five namely The elephant lion and buffalo the leopard and Rhino are shy and elusive and you will be lucky to spot them, large herds of wild beasts zebras masai giraffe can be sighted as well as scavengers like hyenas and vultures, Rest of the meals and overnight at your lodge.

Partake in some of the safari activities on offer - game drives , nature walk with a native maasai guide or alternatively visit a masai village and learn their nomadic lifestyle (at an extra cost ) payable directly to the masai village elders after the activities return to your lodge for dinner and overnight. You can opt for a bush dinner, bush breakfast, balloon ride, horse rides, massages etc

Pre-breakfast game drive from 06:30-am to 09:30-am, see leopards, cheetahs, lioness hunting. This has been considered the best time to see the cats as they go on a hunting spree before sun-rises on the horizon. Back to your camp for a full breakfast, then visit the Maasai village [manyatta] and later depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. lunch served on the way arriving at Lake Nakuru in the evening for dinner and overnight-stay at the Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge.

Scenic Lake Nakuru is Kenya’s most popular national park. The park’s main feature is a large, shallow lake supporting great birdlife, including big flocks of pelicans and variable flocks of flamingos. The lake was once famous for its flamingos, however, since 2012, conditions have become unfavorable for these birds and most have moved to other Rift Valley lakes.

After your breakfast you will have a morning game viewing session in lake Nakuru national park to view flamingoes that are famous in the park and other water birds like pelicans plains game like the cape buffalo giraffe and baboons set off for Amboseli with stop over at Nairobi for lunch then proceed to Amboseli national park arriving late in the evening have an enroute game drive on your way to Amboseli Serena lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Wake up early for a pre breakfast game drive during this time you are likely to see a clear view of the peak of Mt Kilimanjaro Return to your lodge camp for breakfast thereafter proceed for another game drive in search for the big five and other plains game like wild beasts giraffe and the antelopes search also for hippos mostly alongside the semi permanent lakes and swamps like longinya the landscape is mostly dominated by open plains extensive stands of yellow bucked acacia woodland lava strewn thorny bush country and deep valley mountains like namanga lameboti and Elemborashe Birdlife is also prominent like masai ostrich the aquatic little grapes long tailed cormorants African data pelicans goliath purple heroin among others return for your lunch and a break to your lodge Take on another late afternoon game drive to search for large herds of Elephants Errands cokes heartbeats white bearded gnu among others return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
